Day 1. Arrival
Arrival in Ulan Bator. Upon arrival in Ulan Bator, you will be greeted by your guide and driver. Transfer to the hotel Novotel***** Ulan Bator and accommodation. Dinner. (D)
Day 2. Ulan Bator
Have a full day city tour by visiting Sukh Bator square with the monument of Chinggis Khan. Visit to Gandantegchleng Monastery with its gold plated 26m Buddha Statue. Then we attend a chanting ceremony by major monks in the Monastery. Then visit to Mongolian National Museum. Lunch. Visit Bogd Khan Winter Palace Museum, the home of the last Mongolian King. Dinner. Overnight stay in Novotel***** hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 3. “Gorkhi-Terelj” National Park/Chinggis Khan Statue Complex
In the morning, transfer to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. See a giant Turtle Rock . High Mesozoic granite cliffs , sculpted into unique formations by wind, frost and rain erosion, loam over fertile valleys. Hiking to Ariyapala Meditation Temple museum. After the lunch drive to Chinggis Khan Statue Complex, is a 40 meters tall statue of Chinggis Khan on horseback. The statue symbolically points to the east towards his birthplace. Then drive back to Ulan Bator. Dinner. Overnight stay in Novotel***** hotel. (B/L/D) (160 km)
Day 4. Fly to Dalanzadgad/ Yol Valley/ Khongor Sand Dunes
Fly to Dalanzadgad in the morning and meet local drivers upon arrival. Drive to Yol Valley (50 km), Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. Excursion to Yol (Lammergeyer) Valley for morning trekking and an opportunity to photograph the stunning landscapeand wildlife of the area. After excursion, lunch on the way to Khongor Sand Dunes at Khanbogd ger camp. Then drive to Khongor Sand Dunes. (180 km). Check in to the ger camp. Have a relaxed afternoon. Dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 5. Khongor Sand Dunes/Bayanzag (160 km)
After breakfast, excursion to Khongor Sand Dunes known as Singing Dunes, stretching 180 km at the foot of Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain range. After lunch head to Bayanzag, the Flaming Cliffs and explore the Cemetery of Dinosaurs and the trail of Roy Chapman Andrews, an American Natural Museum’ s explorer. See the Saxaul tree of the Gobi. Visit to Nomadic family. Dinner and overnight in ger camp. (B/L/D)
Day 6. Bayanzag/UB
After early breakfast, fly back to Ulan Bator. Upon arrival in Ulan Bator, visit to Zaisan Hill to have a city view. Lunch. After lunch, check in Novotel***** hotel. Leisure time. Enjoy Mongolian Folklore concert at 6 pm in the National Grand Theatre. Dinner. Overnight in Novotel***** hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 7. Departure
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for international departure. (B)
